- Errata (112 KB, 2 pages)
This data set contains Tealbook/Greenbook projections of all variables in both levels and growth rates for all Tealbooks/Greenbooks from January 1978 to June 1998. The data in these files were created at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors by scanning in paper copies of the relevant pages from printed versions of the Tealbook/Greenbook. The scanned data were reviewed, and a substantial number of transcription errors were fixed. However, some transcription errors may remain, given the difficulty of error-checking a data set of this size. If you use these files and find any transcription errors or data that appear out of line, please report them to Tom Stark at PHIL.SPF@phil.frb.org and we will investigate them by comparing the file to hard copy.
The files include historical data as well as projections. The forecast horizon varies over time, from just a few quarters to as many as nine quarters.
These data were created by the staff at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors (in particular, Karen Blackwell, Claudia Canepa, and Tim Grunwald). The data are posted on the Philadelphia Fed’s website with the permission of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors.
If you have any questions about the data, please contact Tom Stark at tom.stark@phil.frb.org.
