Philadelphia, PA – The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia will host a virtual public engagement forum on Tuesday, October 8, about the process for selecting the next Philadelphia Fed president. Members of the Search Committee will provide information about the search process and the qualities they are seeking. Attendees are invited to ask questions and offer feedback for the Search Committee to consider.

Participants will include:

  • Anthony Ibargüen, Chair of the Search Committee and the Philadelphia Fed Board of Directors; CEO, Quench USA, Inc.
  • Sharmain Matlock-Turner, Search Committee Member and Deputy Chair of the Philadelphia Fed Board of Directors; CEO, Urban Affairs Coalition
  • Thomas Daniels, Search Consultant, Spencer Stuart
  • Moderator: Kelly Jones, Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Director of the Office of Minority and Women Inclusion, Philadelphia Fed

The event will be held on October 8 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. ET. Advance registration is required here. Attendees may submit questions in advance via Slido.com (enter code #FRBPOct8) or during the event.

A small group of community stakeholders will be invited to participate onsite. Following the event, a recording will be posted to the Presidential Search web page for anyone interested but unable to attend the virtual event.
