Areas of Expertise

PJ Elliott is a banking structure associate in the Research Department. PJ’s research focuses on banking and financial markets, bank policies and supervision, and banking trends in the Third District.

PJ is interested in banks because they are important institutions for the economy as a whole and for individuals. His goal as a researcher is to understand developments in the banking industry and financial markets to support the Fed’s role in regulating financial institutions and inform the public.

PJ started as an intern in our Research Department in 2016 and was hired as a research assistant in regional economics before transitioning to his current role in 2019. He has a bachelor’s degree in economics and is working toward a master’s degree in mathematics from Villanova University.
