Federal Reserve Board Chair Jerome Powell joined Philadelphia Fed President Patrick Harker in York, Pennsylvania, on October 2 to hear directly from small business owners, workers, anchor institutions, and community leaders about the local economy. Powell and Harker listened as community partners shared their experiences working together to strengthen local workforce development efforts and help their small business sector grow. The York County Economic Alliance, in partnership with organizations across the county, has participated in the Philadelphia Fed’s Reinventing Our Communities (ROC) Cohort program, focusing on collaborative ways to build a more inclusive economy.
