The Federal Reserve Board of Governors and Philadelphia Fed will host Virtual Innovation Office Hours beginning Monday, June 28, 2021. This event allows supervised financial institutions and non-bank fintech firms to discuss financial innovation with Federal Reserve staff. The program is intended to be a resource for supervised financial institutions and technology firms that may provide services to banks.
Individual one-hour appointments on financial technology innovation topics will be scheduled, depending on availability.
- Space is limited for office hour appointments. Please complete the application form. Virtual one-on-one appointments will be scheduled based on availability of the Board of Governors and Philadelphia Fed.
- Please specify your topics of interest and state your objectives for the requested appointment. Discussions will focus on financial technology innovation.
- The Federal Reserve will not provide supervisory review, approval, or opinions during the assigned office hours.
To kick off the Virtual Innovation Office Hours, Philadelphia Fed President Patrick T. Harker will provide opening remarks at 11:00 a.m. on June 28. Following the opening remarks, there will be a fireside discussion with Federal Reserve Board of Governors Deputy Director Art Lindo and Philadelphia Fed Senior Vice President Bill Spaniel. This session will highlight the importance of an open dialogue among financial institutions and non-bank fintech firms.
At 11:00 a.m. on June 29, a panel of bankers will share their experiences with financial innovation and bank-fintech partnerships.
