The Federal Reserve Board of Governors and Philadelphia Fed hosted Virtual Innovation Office Hours. This event allowed supervised financial institutions and non-bank fintech firms to discuss financial innovation with Federal Reserve staff. The program was intended to be a resource for supervised financial institutions and technology firms that may provide services to banks.

To kick off the Virtual Innovation Office Hours, Philadelphia Fed President Patrick T. Harker provided opening remarks on June 28. Following the opening remarks, there was a fireside discussion with Federal Reserve Board of Governors Deputy Director Art Lindo and Philadelphia Fed Senior Vice President Bill Spaniel. This session highlighted the importance of an open dialogue among financial institutions and non-bank fintech firms. On June 29, a panel of bankers shared their experiences with financial innovation and bank-fintech partnerships.
