VP, Information Security Officer and Data Privacy Officer
After spending 25 years of her career in information technology including over 17 years in information security, Nancy Hunter considers joining the Reserve Bank in 2017 as the highlight of her career. In her current role as chief information security officer and data privacy officer, she leads a team of Information Security and IT Risk Management professionals in enacting the Bank’s insider risk management, external service provider, and data privacy programs.
The world of cybersecurity is changing daily, which is one of the reasons why Nancy enjoys her field so much. She contributes to the local cybersecurity community by participating as a speaker or panel participant to serve as a resource to others.
Nancy co-founded the Philadelphia Women and Cybersecurity and currently serves as President and board chair of the Delaware Valley affiliate of WiCyS, a global organization focused on advancing women in cybersecurity careers. She is certified in Risk and Information Systems Controls (CRISC), and Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE). She is a LEADERSHIP Philadelphia Fellow and holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Temple University.
