Senior Vice President and General Counsel

Kori Connelly was appointed senior vice president and general counsel for the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia in January 2024. In this role, Kori leads the Legal and Law Enforcement departments and serves as the Bank’s ethics officer.

Kori had been interim general counsel and ethics officer from November 2023 to her recent appointment. She originally joined the Philadelphia Fed in 2011 as assistant vice president and counsel and was promoted to vice president and deputy general counsel in 2018. In addition to her day-to-day responsibilities, Kori has proven to be a trusted advisor and has contributed to many key Bank initiatives, including the pandemic crisis response team and the Return to Bank planning team. Kori has also made important contributions at the Federal Reserve System level, including as chair of the Federal Reserve Law Enforcement Officer Legal Workgroup for several terms.

Before joining the Bank, Kori was a partner at Swartz Campbell LLC, where she focused on employment and insurance-related matters. She has a J.D. from Temple University School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in English from La Salle University.
