
Brian W. Jones
Board Member | President and CEO, The First National Bank of Elmer – Elmer, NJ
Brian W. Jones, a Class A director, is president and chief executive officer of The First National Bank of Elmer. In this capacity, he provides leadership for all bank-wide initiatives, programs, and activities. Prior to this position, Jones served as senior vice president and chief lending officer of Newfield National Bank in Newfield, NJ. In that role, he was responsible for the daily operations of the lending department and for the bank’s credit policy.
Jones currently serves on the Board of Trustees and the Finance Committee for Friends School Mullica Hill; the Executive Advisory Council and Finance Advisory Board for Rohrer College of Business at Rowan University; the Board of Trustees for Atlantic Cape Community College Foundation; the Board of Trustees for Cape May County Coast Guard Community Foundation; the Executive Corporate Board of The Franklin Institute; the New Jersey Board of Trustees of the Jefferson Health Foundation; the Board of Trustees at Bankers Cooperative Group, Inc. (a subsidiary of NJ Bankers); the Board of Trustees at Emmanuel Cancer Foundation; the Leadership Council of Maryville Integrative Care; member of the Executive Board for the Southern New Jersey Chapter of Risk Management Association, and a member of the Executive Board for the Garden State Council Boy Scouts of America.
In 2024, he was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award from Risk Management Association, and Humanitarian of the Year from Emmanuel Cancer Foundation. In 2023, he received the Greg Davis Community Service Award from the Volunteer Center of South Jersey; and the ICON Award from NJBIZ. He was named among South Jersey’s top “Power 50” leaders in 2022 by South Jersey Biz Magazine, Citizen of the Year by the Garden State Council, Boy Scouts of America, and among the 2021 “Leaders in Finance” by NJBIZ.
Jones is a graduate of the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Delaware. He earned a B.A. in administrative studies from Glassboro State College, now Rowan University, and an A.S. in business administration and A.A.S. in banking and finance technology from Gloucester County College, now Rowan College of South Jersey.
