Andrew Samuel

Andrew Samuel has served as chairman and chief executive officer of LINKBANK since its inception in 2018. In that role, he brings more than 36 years of banking experience to individuals, families, nonprofits, and businesses throughout central and southeastern Pennsylvania.

Prior to his current position, Samuel served most recently as chief executive officer and president of Sunshine Bancorp, Inc., and Sunshine Bank. He also worked as director and president of Susquehanna Bancshares, Inc., and as chief executive officer and chairman of the board of Susquehanna Bank. While there, he was responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and marketing of more than 240 branch offices. Prior to that, Samuel was founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of Graystone Financial Corp., Graystone Bank, and Tower Bancorp, which grew to $2.8 billion in assets in six years.

Beginning in 1984, Samuel served in various positions at other financial institutions, including Waypoint Financial Corp., Sovereign Bank, Fulton Bank, and Commonwealth National Banks/Mellon. He earned a degree in accounting and marketing from Messiah College in Mechanicsville, PA.
