A new way to experience money, banking, and the Federal Reserve's role in the economy; opening weekdays starting June 4.
Your Visit, Made Easy
Located at 6th and Arch Streets, the exhibit is just steps from Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. Come solo and explore at your own pace. Bring your family for an afternoon of discovery. Organize a school field trip or group outing. The exhibit has something for everyone.
Getting Here
The Philadelphia Fed is located at Ten Independence Mall, Philadelphia, PA 19106. Please enter the exhibit at 6th and Arch Streets. For directions to the Bank, please click here.
Public transportation options include SEPTA Regional Rail service to Jefferson Station, the Market-Frankford Line (Blue Line) to 8th Street Station, or the PATCO Speedline to Franklin Square Station.
The Bank does not have available parking onsite; however, there are several convenient parking lots nearby, including:
- Independence Visitor Center at 6th and Arch Streets,
- Parkade at 8th and Filbert Streets, and
- Parkway Parking at 8th and Arch Streets.
Visitor Policies
All individuals visiting the Money in Motion exhibit will be subject the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia’s screening process, including x-ray screening and metal detection. All visitors 18 years of age and older must show a valid, physical, government-issued photo ID before entering the exhibit.
Items not allowed in the exhibit include, but are not limited to, firearms, stun guns, knives of any kind, box cutters, explosives, pepper spray or mace, and illegal drugs. At no time are firearms allowed into the exhibit regardless of concealed carry status.
Food and drink are not permitted in the exhibit.
Planning a Group Visit?
We welcome corporate teams, educators, and community organizations.
Groups of 15 or more should reserve space at least a week in advance. We ask that school groups of all sizes reach out to our Economic Education team ahead of time to plan a visit.

Our team will coordinate everything, answer your questions, and make sure your arrival is smooth. Plan for about an hour to explore — but let curiosity be your guide.
