A key purpose of the Institute is to provide a forum for sharing and discussing critical knowledge and new ideas. We host conferences that present scholarly studies as well as findings from industry, consumer, and public sector participants.

The Consumer Finance Institute hosts in-house workshops and research seminars during which invited guests lead discussions on a variety of consumer finance and payments topics to inform Bank staff and Federal Reserve System colleagues.
