What are workers thinking in 2022? The answers aren't in labor market data and surveys or coming out of conversations with businesses and financial institutions. This is especially true for low-wage workers. So, the Fed decided to ask these workers directly about their experiences.
This summer, the Federal Reserve brought together 20 focus groups around the country to gain insights from workers and job seekers themselves. We're calling it the Worker Voices Project. Although we still have a few more sessions to go, you can read some early takeaways on the Fed Communities website.
