We hosted our Sixth Annual Fintech Conference at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia on August 3-4, 2022. This event was co-organized with Columbia School of International Public Affairs (SIPA), the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Cambridge, the Brookings Institution, and the Bank Policy Institute. This was an in-person/hybrid event this year.
The goal of our annual fintech conferences has been to provide a platform for fintech experts to come together to discuss various emerging issues around financial technology, the impact, and the appropriate policy responses. In the past, we have covered artificial intelligence/machine learning; blockchain; central bank digital currency (CBDC); stablecoins; buy now, pay later; consumer protection; fintech partnership; and fintech regulations. This year, our focus was on cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, FedNow, CBDC, bank/fintech partnerships, cyber risk associated with fintech activities, the future of payment, and fintech regulations.
Reporters were invited to the event as well. All sessions were recorded, and the videos are accessible below.
