The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia invited financial industry leaders and information security professionals to our 13th Annual Financial Institutions and Law Enforcement Cybersecurity Conference. This year’s theme was Leading the Way: Cybersecurity in the Third District.
At this daylong, virtual event, attendees heard from speakers on topics such as money laundering and cybercrime, physical security, and the new payment system FedNow. The event also featured:
- a discussion of the cybersecurity aspects of Federal Reserve bank examinations;
- a fireside chat with representatives from the FBI about the current state of cybersecurity in our region;
- a presentation on digital asset custody; and
- a conversation about the governance and adoption of generative artificial intelligence.
