The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia hosted the Fifth Annual Fintech Conference on November 16 –17, 2021. This virtual event was co-organized with Columbia SIPA, the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Cambridge, the Brookings Institution, and the Bank Policy Institute.

The goal of our annual fintech conferences has been to provide a platform for fintech experts to discuss various emerging issues around financial technology, the impact, and the appropriate policy responses. In the past, we have covered issues including artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML), blockchain, central bank digital currency (CBDC), consumer protection, open banking, fintech partnership, challenger banks, and fintech regulations.
