Financial industry CEOs, leaders, and professionals working on the front lines of information security and law enforcement were invited to join the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia for a daylong virtual event, “Emerging Threats and Technology.”
The 12th Annual Financial Institutions and Law Enforcement Cybersecurity Conference offered a day of learning and discussion on topics such as trends in fraud, crime and law enforcement issues for banks, and free tools from the federal government to remediate commonly found vulnerabilities. There was also a panel discussion on artificial intelligence and a talk on identifying risks when outsourcing to third-party vendors. Focusing on issues affecting the financial services industry in the Third District, the aim of the conference was to increase understanding about security threats and new developments in the tech world.
