In the monthly Survey of Economic Mobility, participants who live in the Third Federal Reserve District answer questions about their economic circumstances, including employment, efforts to gain employment, and education. The survey has been conducted since 2023.
As part of our efforts to ensure a strong economy and thriving communities, the Philadelphia Fed tracks economic conditions in our District. Survey responses provide insights into Third District residents’ economic well-being and will inform research and policymaking.
