As a credit risk management senior market specialist, Marc carries a lot of responsibility — his work supports one of the Federal Reserve’s core functions: promoting the stability of the financial system. His sharp understanding of credit, built on decades of banking and supervision expertise, enhances how the Federal Reserve System manages credit risk and acts on market data.

Before joining us in Philadelphia, Marc spent 19 years at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where his work was shaped by two unforgettable jolts to the economy: the attacks of September 11 and the financial crisis of 2007–08. He says both experiences, and a lifelong curiosity in banking supervision, have shaped his work as a central banker.
