We deliver on our commitment to diversity and inclusion through the following initiatives:

The Office of Minority and Women Inclusion (OMWI) oversees our efforts to ensure diversity among our workforce, our suppliers, and in the Third District. The OMWI reports annually to Congress on our EEO data and on our accomplishments with respect to diversity goals.

Our Supplier Diversity Program fosters opportunities for minority- and women-owned firms to do business with the Bank. We do this through employee training, and outreach and education to diverse suppliers.

Our diversity recruiting efforts include outreach through diversity recruiting fairs and to historically black colleges and universities and other area schools. We also post job openings on a variety of job sites with a focus on diverse candidates, including women and people of color.

The Diversity Council is a group that fosters an appreciation within the Bank for the diversity of our population. Representing various departments across the organization, the council serves as a link between management and employees around diversity issues and initiatives.

Our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are employee-created and -led groups that serve as avenues for collaboration and professional development. ERGs come together around shared characteristics or professional interests but are open to all employees.

Our financial literacy programs empower people with the knowledge and skills to make sound financial decisions. These programs promote economic inclusion among the diverse communities of the Third District and the nation.
