Accordingly, it is the Bank’s policy to disclose many of its records upon request, including, in certain instances, information that FOIA would ordinarily exempt from disclosure. In all cases, disclosure decisions will take into consideration whether disclosure would (1) impair some legitimate public or private interest protected by law; (2) violate other applicable law; or (3) impair the effectiveness of the Bank or the Federal Reserve System in performing their respective responsibilities.
