We are pleased to announce the following election results:

  • Christopher Maher, chairman and chief executive officer, OceanFirst Bank, Toms River, NJ, has been reelected to serve a second term as a Class A director by member banks in Electoral Group 1. Maher’s term begins on January 1, 2023.
  • John Fry, president, Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA, has been reelected to serve a second term as a Class B director by member banks in Electoral Group 2. Fry’s term begins on January 1, 2023.

Additionally, the following appointments were made by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, effective January 1, 2023:

  • Anthony Ibargüen, chief executive officer, Quench USA, Inc., King of Prussia, PA, has been reappointed as a Class C director and appointed chair of the board of directors.
  • Sharmain-Matlock-Turner, president and chief executive officer, Urban Affairs Coalition, Philadelphia, PA, has been appointed deputy chair of the board.
  • William Lo, founder and president, Crystal Steel Fabricators, Inc., Delmar, DE, has been appointed as a Class C director.

Our board of directors also made the following appointment:

  • Jeffrey Schweitzer, president and chief executive officer, Univest Corporation of Pennsylvania, and chief executive officer, Univest Bank and Trust Company, has been reappointed by the board of directors of this Reserve Bank to represent the Third District on the Federal Advisory Council, effective January 1–December 31, 2023.
