Summary:
The Consumer Compliance Task Force of the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) is supplementing, amending, and republishing its Interagency Questions and Answers Regarding Community Reinvestment. The Interagency Questions and Answers have been prepared by staff of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and the Office of Thrift Supervision to answer frequently asked questions about community reinvestment. These Interagency Questions and Answers contain informal staff guidance for agency personnel, financial institutions, and the public.
