Edward (Ed) L. Dandridge is chief marketing and communications officer of Marsh & McLennan Companies, a global professional services firm in more than 130 markets. In this role, Dandridge’s responsibilities include marketing, communications, engagement, thought leadership, and reputational risk management in addition to leading the global marketing organization for the firm’s Risk & Insurance Services Segment, which includes Marsh and Guy Carpenter.
Before working at Marsh & McLennan, Dandridge was CEO of the National Association of Investment Companies, an industry trade group representing private equity and venture firms. Previously, he held senior leadership roles at Nielsen and ABC. An attorney, he started his career in private practice.
Dandridge is a guest lecturer at Fordham University’s Graduate School of Business and a frequent speaker at industry conferences. A member of the Executive Leadership Council, he has been recognized by Savoy magazine as one of the “Top 100 Most Influential Blacks in Corporate America.” Dandridge, a native Philadelphian, has lived and worked in Asia, Europe, and Africa. He has a juris doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law and a B.A. with honors in history from Tufts University.
