Philadelphia, Pa. - The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia today launched its newly redesigned website. The new format enables users to get information faster and more easily.

The site's navigation is more intuitive, and its content is organized by topics that help users gain easy access to the information most useful to them. In addition, links on each page direct users to related content.

"Our redesigned website is intended to give visitors a more valuable experience. We have reorganized a wealth of information to meet the needs of all of our visitors, whether they are consumers, academic researchers, teachers, bankers, or news reporters," said Jim Ely, vice president of Public Affairs.

The redesigned website also contains new content, including a Foreclosure Resource Center and an updated Careers section. The Foreclosure Resource Center is designed to help homeowners in trouble find the help that they need, with links to legal services and housing counseling agencies and numbers for hotlines. It is also a good resource for anyone interested in this topical subject. The Careers page introduces job-seekers to the culture at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia and makes it simple to find a job opening and apply online.

Visitors can still find familiar sections, such as the online Newsroom for the media and the Real-Time Data Research Center for academic researchers interested in analyses of real-time economic data.

The redesign also broadens the Bank's offering of podcasts. Users will find a page devoted to podcasts and have the option of searching them by topic.

The Bank's web team encourages users to send feedback about the redesigned website. Send us your comments or suggestions. E-mail

The preview video, launched yesterday, is still available.
