- Podcast interview with Valentino Castellani, former Mayor of Turin, Italy. Castellani led an economic recovery of Turin, Italy, during his two terms as mayor of Turin. He confronted a structural decline of the manufacturing sector as Fiat, the major employer in the city, sharply reduced employment. He established linkages with European capitals, initiated a planning process that included residents and that led to a strategic plan, and headed the organizing committee for the 2006 Winter Olympic Games, which helped reposition Turin as the "City of the Alps."
