Best Practices: Principles of Corporate Governance

In May 2002, the Business Roundtable, an association of chief executive officers representing 150 of the nation's largest companies, issued a white paper, Principles of Corporate Governance. This paper provides a set of best practices for senior management and boards of directors to ensure companies comply with applicable regulations and deal fairly and candidly with shareholders, employees, and the communities in which they do business.
