As president of UPS’s North California District, Turner is responsible for creating the overall vision of the global business environment and for implementing long- and short-term strategies that emphasize performance and growth. Turner’s career at UPS dates back to 1979 when she began as a clerk in the Metro Los Angeles District. She was promoted to business manager in 1985 and held several management and special assignment positions in that district before she was promoted to president of UPS’s Prairie Mountain District in 1998. Turner was also president of the South California District, the Metro Philadelphia District, and the Chesapeake District before accepting her current assignment in the North California District.
Turner serves as the vice chair for the Comcast Diversity & Inclusion Council and is a member of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group. She is also is a member of the board of trustees for Loyola Marymount University where she chairs the technology committee. Turner has a bachelor’s degree from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, CA.
