Before his appointment as deputy chairman, Michael J. Angelakis served as a Class C director of the Bank’s board of directors since January 2012. In his roles at Comcast Corp., Angelakis is responsible for corporate development, strategic planning, investor relations, internal and external reporting, and taxation. From 1999 to 2007, he was a managing director and a member of the management and investment committees of Providence Equity Partners. Before that, he was president and CEO of State Cable TV Corp. and Aurora Telecommunications, LLC. He also served as a vice president at Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company in New York.
Angelakis serves on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. He is also a trustee of Babson College. Angelakis was named one of America’s Best CFOs by Institutional Investor magazine in 2012, 2009, and 2008. He is a graduate of Babson College and the Owner/President Management Program at Harvard Business School.
